It seems that Jeb Bush is just too “low energy” to get involved in sports.
Bush has withdrawn his bid to purchase the Miami Marlins alongside co-bidder Derek Jeter, and adding to the speculation as to why are stories claiming a rift has grown between the 2 men.
Jeter is now seeking control of all baseball operations within 3 years of the purchase date.
That’s at odds with Bush’s understanding, as the former POTUS candidate was under the impression that the team would be ran equally by the pair.
Ironically, Jeter is now rumored to be in talks with Mitt Romney about purchasing the Marlins.
