San Francisco is known for its progressive nature, but now it may be going a little bit too far. In so far, they have banned city workers are now banned from traveling to North Carolina to protest the state’s transgender law, boycotted Arizona to protest their stringent enforcement of immigration laws, requested Chik-fil-A to keep out of their city and then many other attacks on those who take a conservative stance.
Now, those who bid on President Donald Trump’s wall are going to have to think twice before they take action, especially if they plan on working with the city of San Francisco again. San Francisco will be barred from contracting with companies who tried to make a deal to work on the wall during the bidding period, regardless of whether or not they received a contract, if a new piece of legislation goes through that was introduced by two legislative supervisors. This backwards way of promoting their liberal agenda is not only an attack on the policies instated by the POTUS, but an attack on the American way.
From Young Conservatives:
But, one might ask, isn’t punishing a construction company from earning an honest dollar doing what they do best for the U.S. government kinda…unAmerican?
Who cares? says San Fran.
Or as Supervisor Hillary Ronen put it, “It is time to move beyond symbolism and use the power we have as a city to fight for the values we hold most dear.”
Or, to put it yet another way, “let’s punish anyone who does not share those values”.
