In a series of Tweets, Alec Baldwin dedicated to Kathy Griffin, he told her that he fully supported her grotesque video showing the president’s decapitated head. Of course, what can you expect from the man who makes a living doing bad impersonations on a show that no one watches?
“Dear Kathy Griffin, Kathy….baby…I’ve been there. The whole Henry Hyde thing [with] Conan, where we bring out an oxygen mask at the end? a joke. That’s what I thought. That’s what we intended. No one walked out of the studio and said, ‘No! We’re serious!’ No one,” Baldwin wrote, referencing comments he made in 1998 about a Republican lawmaker.
The Hill reports:
“But all your gutless, weasels in the GOP insisted that I actually threatened Hyde. They played the victim beautifully. Kathy…fu– them. Fu– them all. [no one] believes [you] meant [to] threaten Trump,” Baldwin continued.
“Trump is such a senile idiot, all he has is Twitter fights. ignore him. Like the leaders of all the other countries in the world. Ignore him.”
Griffin, since posing for the photo, has received widespread criticism and was fired from her gig hosting CNN’s New Years Eve Special.
Griffin apologized in a Friday news conference, where she claimed Trump and his family “are personally, personally trying to ruin my life forever.”
