Kathy Griffin has apologized for a video clip showing her holding the bloody, decapitated head of President Trump.
But it wasn’t in the interest of peace, goodwill or political harmony.
Rather, the comic may have noticed something interesting happening to her live-concert itinerary – promoters beginning to cancel shows, one by one.
“I was wrong. I am sorry,” Griffin wrote on social media after seeing the avalanche begin.
“Thank you for showing respect and decency to all Americans,” said one tweet in response to the Route 66 announcement.
