Democratic candidate Jon Ossoff struggled through a brutal 4 minutes in Georgia’s special election debate on Tuesday night.
Karen Handel, the Republican candidate for the House of Representatives’ 6th District, called him out for not living in the District he is attempting to represent.
Actually, “called out” is a mild way to put it. She blistered his bugle.
Given the chance to ask Ossoff a question, Handel turned and asked him who he was going to vote for in the election. Sly move – as everyone knows “Greasy Jon” lives outside the 6th District.
When Ossoff squirmed and mentioned his family looking to cast sympathy on himself, Handel pounced. You might live just 5 miles outside of the district but your values are nearly 3,000 miles away in San Francisco,” she thundered.
“That’s why so many of your contributions have come from liberals from California, New York and Massachusetts. It’s why you’re supported by Nancy Pelosi.”
