Richard Patterson, the 65 year-old Florida man accused of murdering girlfriend Francisca Marquinez, 60, was found not guilty in a court of law on Monday.
Patterson almost changed legal history forever with his initial defense. He claimed that the size of his penis had caused Marquinez to fatally choke during oral sex.
His lawyers followed with a proposal to show the courtroom Patterson’s full Monty.
When experts testified that it is unlikely for someone to fatally choke on a penis, Patterson’s team changed its strategy.
The lawyers argued that it was impossible to know how Marquinez died because medical examiners didn’t get to perform an autopsy in time.
A jury found Patterson not guilty after 5 hours’ deliberation. “At least they weren’t hung,” cracked a reporter from The Daily Caller.
