Not only did the Obama administration spy on President Trump’s transition team and other Republican presidential candidates, but they could very well have spied on the U.S. Supreme Court.
That is Judge Andrew Napolitano‘s legal opinion after speaking to Justice Scalia, Napolitano told Fox News in an interview today.
“Justice Scalia told me that he often thought the court was being surveilled. And he told me that probably 4 or 5 years ago,” he said.
On the hot-button allegation that Obama may have spied on libertarian candidate Rand Paul during the Republican primary, the Judge made a distinction between types of spying.
The information gathering had nothing to do with foreign intelligence, but was instead of matter of “unmasking (Paul) when he’s having a conversation with his campaign manager,” Napolitano said.
