Guess who wants to be a stripper? Jon Gosselin is in need of some twerking lessons, thanks to his new career choice.
The former reality TV star (and father) of “Jon & Kate Plus 8” announced he has a new gig. No more turntables for this divorced father of eight. It’s tight briefs and baby oil for him now.
Now 39, Jon Gosselin plans to make his grand debut as a stripper soon, he told Entertainment Tonight. His great breakout will be in Atlantic City, N.J. at the Dusk in Caesars Casino club.
Not long after leaving the “Jon & Kate Plus 8” TLC reality show, he began pursuing a career as a DJ. This came after his divorce from wife, Kate, in 2009. His DJing goals led him to club Dusk to do promotions.
Now, he’s making a transition at the club…. to its very popular “Untamed” Male Revue show.”
“I’m an integral part of the show,” he told ET. “Being part of something is a blessing. Since I joined Senate DJ I’ve felt like I belong to something and I’m not just out there on my own – I feel as if I’m part of a fraternity or brotherhood.”
The father of eight will not be going fully nude, however, the show only allows dancers to strip down to their underwear.
His first revue is on April 1.
When asked if he ever thought he would end up as a stripper, the promoter replied, “No way!”
Gosselin was rumored to have cheated on his former wife with the family’s nanny. He decided to leave the show rather than allow the divorce to play out on television.
He also has shared in interviews that he hasn’t seen most of his children in years.
“Kate Plus 8” ran on TLC without Jon until 2009 following the pair’s divorce.
Jon made headlines back in 2013 after he pulled a gun on a photographer and fired a warning shot while working as a waiter at the Black Dog restaurant, TMZ reported.
