President Trump has had to deal with the fake news since he announced his candidacy. After winning the election, Trump invited all the heads of the mainstream media in for a meeting. He called them out for their blatant bias and called CNN ‘fake news’.
Since then, CNN White House Correspondent Jim Acosta has been cautioned about his rude behavior several times during White House press briefings. Acosta is also no stranger to the backlash he receives on Twitter for posting false stories and his own misguided opinion.
The President recently posted the following tweet on social media:
With all of its phony unnamed sources & highly slanted & even fraudulent reporting, #Fake News is DISTORTING DEMOCRACY in our country!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 16, 2017
Jim Acosta thought it would be appropriate for him to respond because, after all, who else is going to defend fake news?
Calling the American news media "fake news" may feel good to some. It may energize the base. But it's bad for our democracy.
— Jim Acosta (@Acosta) July 16, 2017
Patriotic Twitter users recognized that the President wasn’t talking about all media outlets. Just the ones like CNN that continue to publish fake news.

Acosta just assumed it was ALL American news outlets, maybe because CNN is guilty of publishing fake news.
“Bad for our democracy” sounds like a nice phrase. But how is it bad, exactly?

There are tons more in response to Acosta’s tweet, but we think this one says it all:
You know what else is bad for our democracy? A media that pushes a partisan agenda in collusion with a political party

Acosta should learn to keep his liberal biased mouth shut, and just do his job – reporting the news.
Biz Pac Review reports:
President Donald Trump took to social media early Sunday to criticize the purveyors of fake news, saying their “fraudulent reporting” is bad for democracy.
…and CNN’s Jim Acosta made the unwise decision to counter the claim.
“With all of its phony unnamed sources & highly slanted & even fraudulent reporting, #Fake News is DISTORTING DEMOCRACY in our country!” the president tweeted.
