Jane Sanders, wife of Bernie Sanders, is under investigation by the FBI. But rather than consider that she may have done any wrongdoing when serving as the President of a small liberal arts college, she believes that sexism is to blame for the fact that she is even under investigation in the first place. She believes that Brady Toensing, a Vermont candidate for U.S. state attorney, is trying to ruin her reputation to get at her husband.
Never mind that Sanders took on massive debt to expand the school before she left – never mind that the loans may not have undergone the strict underwriting process that normally accompanies such an expansion – she consistently and loudly claims she is not to blame.
Jane Sanders said, “I find it incredibly sexist that basically he’s going after my husband by destroying my reputation, and that’s not OK.”
Perhaps Sanders has forgotten the fact that Toensing had his focus on her even before her husband decided to run for President.
I hardly think sexism is to blame in this case! Try again, Jane!
Allen B. West reports:
Jane Sanders, the wife of former Democrat-socialist presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, has found herself under FBI investigation for a scandal relating to her leadership at Vermont’s Burlington College, where she served as president from 2004-2011. The small liberal arts college went bankrupt in May of 2016, and while she was no longer the school’s president, all eyes were on her.
After all, it was Jane Sanders who took on a massive amount of debt in a fruitless effort to expand the school in the years leading up to her departure. It was ironic, considering the policies of her husband would do the same, albeit at the national level.
