On Wednesday, Ivanka Trump fired back at critics during an exclusive interview with Gayle King in her $5.5 million home in Kalorama. In this interview, Ivanka responded to critics who have been speaking up against her for being ‘complicit‘ in her father’s agenda and for not taking a bigger stand up for women’s rights.
Ivanka said that she has no problem being considered complicit, because in her mind, being complicit is “wanting to be a force of good.” She then went on to say that her biggest goal is to “make a positive impact” and that in time, people will come to appreciate all the good work that her and her father are doing in the White House and that she would not do anything differently than she is doing now.
From Daily Mail:
‘I don’t know that the critics who may say that of me, if they found themselves in this very unique and unprecedented situation that I am now in, would do any differently than I am doing. ‘Ivanka then adds: ‘So I hope to make a positive impact. I don’t know what it means to be complicit, but you know, I hope time will prove that I have done a good job and much more importantly that my father’s administration is the success that I know it will be. ‘The rest of Ivanka’s interview and more will air on ‘CBS This Morning’ Wednesday.
