Officials from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detained on Thursday a former Maryland soccer coach who is accused of sexually assaulting a 7 year-old girl and possibly her teammates.
Miguel Alfredo-Flores, a 47 year-old illegal immigrant, was arrested in Montgomery County, Maryland after an investigation determined that he had inappropriately touched the girl, now age 9, in the summer of 2015.
Disgustingly, the alleged incidents took place at soccer practice when other team members were running laps, according to a local Fox News report.
Detectives think other children might have been sexually assaulted by the Salvadoran immigrant, as the girl told detectives that Flores threatened her if she should ever tell anyone.
ICE said in a statement Friday that they had placed an immigration detainer on the suspect.
That clearly indicates a desire to deport Flores as soon as possible.
