There are instances when taking selfies is just inappropriate, and a terror attack is definitely one of those instances. A man found himself at the sharp end of Twitter hate after being caught with a selfie stick at the site of the London terror attack. Sky news coverage shows the man was trying to get a better vantage point to take photos of the scene where a terrorist’s rampage left four people dead and more than 40 injured. Although no terror group has since taken responsibility for the attack, U.K authorities said they are treating the heinous act as an act of terrorism.
Heatst.com reports:
Footage taken on Westminster Bridge shows an unidentified man armed with a selfie stick with waiting ambulances in the background.
He appears to be talking to the camera, but it was unclear whether he was filming a Facebook Live video or a member of the media.
Either way, the man’s actions were branded inappropriate with one social media comment saying it was “everything that is wrong with humanity in one photo.”
