An ISIS sex slave recounted her journey after she was taken and kept as a “wife” to a ISIS soldier before she managed to escape – by plotting an air strike with another slave “wife” and having her “husband” killed.
Known only as Farida, 27, the woman was captured from her family more than two years ago, and was forced to spend two years as a sex slave and wife for an ISIS soldier, where she says she was “treated like an animal,” to the point where she knew she had to do something drastic to escape.
She planned a drone air strike with the terrorists other “wife”, with the two of them contacting the Iraqi army secretly and giving away his location so they could get away. The army bombed the car. The two women hid out for 8 days so other soldiers would think they died in the attack as well. Then they were able to make a run for it. They are now living in a refugee camp.
The Daily Mail reports:
Farida was kept as a prisoner in Mosul before finally escaping after two years of hell.
‘An ISIS fighter kept me as a slave’, she said. ‘But he still had a wife. She also wanted to flee.’
Working together, the two women hatched a plan to kill the terrorist, managing to communicate with the Iraqi Army to describe the exact position of his car so an air strike could take him out.
She said: ‘We hid for eight days, so people thought we had died in the car too. Only then did we escape.’
She has been reunited in the refugee camp with her husband, who was on police duty in another part of the country when she was abducted.
‘I tried to keep my honour, but I have not succeeded. They have abused and beaten me, treated me like an animal. I have barely words to describe what happened to me’, she added.
