Liberal media types are becoming more frustrated with President Trump as he continues to favor answering questions from more Conservative news sources. The Daily Caller reports that journalists and reporters that have long been hostile to Donald Trump through his campaign are complaining that they are not getting the same amount of press access as other sources. They said, “President Donald Trump called on two conservative outlets during his joint press conference Wednesday with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and journalists are not happy.”
For two allotted questions, President trump called firstly on a CBN reporter who asked about the resignation of Michael Flynn (Security Advisor), and the second was to a Townhall reporter who asked about the Middle East peace agreement.
USA Today reporter, Heidi Przybyla tweeted:
“Calling on only conservative press who refuse to press [President Donald Trump] about his Russia connections is not freedom of the press,”
And CNN’s, Jim Costa said:
“There’s no other way to describe it but: The fix is in.”
Others in the media also commented that reporters didn’t ask any “real questions”, especially regarding possible Russian connections.
President Trump, however, managed to make his points about how he wants Israel to “stop building settlements” and that the “fake media” are after him. Katherine Miller from Buzzfeed surprisingly commented that:
“Am I missing something or have most of the questions from conservative outlets/broadcasters been fine or good?”
