Hillary Clinton‘s long-awaited return to public speaking has included its share of cliches and tired phrases. But her newest slogan, designed as a liberal call-to-arms against President Donald Trump, is so bad that it doesn’t even seem real.
Giving a speech to a group of rich Californians on Tuesday, Clinton said she had been thinking about a slogan while taking her “long walks in the woods” and then laid it on them.
“Resist. Insist. Persist. Enlist.“
Ouch. Besides sounding like the Democrats’ usual clumsy hucksterism, Christian Datoc of The Daily Caller quickly pointed out that Clinton’s new chant sounds conspicuously similar to Michael Scott’s “Rules of Business” on the TV comedy The Office.
