A bumbling idiot decided to burglarize a Tuscon, Arizona school. But, he was quickly caught, or rather he caught himself… on a fence… upside down… with his pants down… or up… around his ankles.
A locksmith, Jesse Sensibar, just happened to see the burglar trying to break into Miles Elementary School classrooms while driving by the school.
When the thief realized he was being watched, he high-tailed it out of there, ABC affiliate KNXV reported.
He made it to the school’s fence. But, as he tried to scale it, his baggy pants got caught on the spiked metal fence.
He ended up with his pants around his ankles, while hanging upside down on the fence.
When the cops arrived. That’s exactly how they found him.
Jesse Sensibar wrote on Facebook that he came across the man while driving by, but by the time he turned around to help police had arrived.
“One more reason not to jump fences in baggy pants,” he wrote.
“I don’t know what his story was, but it must not have been good enough,” Sensibar added. “Fifteen minutes later, when I went back by the other direction going home he was cuffed up in the backseat [of the patrol car].”
No worse for the wear, the man smiled for the camera, Sensibar concluded.
