Darlene Superville of Real Clear Politics writes that though Trump has had his failures in his first 100 days in office, the new President is actually undoing Barack Obama‘s policies…one small step at a time.
On EPA regulations, for instance, Trump has delivered on a pledge to revoke the previous administration’s business-choking Climate Change initiatives, launching a review of the Clean Power Plan and lifting a 14-month-old halt on new leases to coal-mining companies.
The President will also soon sign a measure to block online privacy regulations that the FCC issued during Obama’s last few months in office. Critics have pointed out that the laws prevented fair competition and allowed the Federal government to have a hand in picking winners and losers on the internet.
Superville also praises Trump’s work toward conservative goals in other areas, including boosting the economy and encouraging job growth, renewing our support of Israel, upgrading the armed forces and bringing the under-handed methods of Obama’s surveillance of American citizens to light.
