An HBO producer and his accomplice are facing prison time, after a guilty plea in a case involving a cocaine binge, an woman’s fatal overdose and the men attempting to hide her body.
Marc Henry Johnson, 52, was arrested and charged alongside his friend and cocaine dealer James Holder last May. The victim, Kiersten Rickenbach Cerveny (in photo), was found dying by the police in New York’s upmarket Chelsea neighborhood on October 4, 2015.
The pair are charged with giving illegal drugs to Cerveny, a mother of three, hours before she was found helplessly strewn in a doorway. Johnson, who has been working on a new HBO series with James Franco, lured the group into a drug binge, then helped carry the victim’s body downstairs and attempted to hide it after finding the victim unconscious.
HBO is known for its liberal, high-handed and pro-feminist programming.
