If you’ve been wondering where the “non-stop protestors” that have been in our streets screaming since Donald Trump’s election actually come from, and how they can even afford to be protesting permanently, here’s the answer. They are being encouraged and actually paid by American Universities and colleges.
The Virginia Commonwealth University is offering “grants” of $2,500 to students or groups that have a protest plan and are willing to carry it out. Their excuse being “how the innovative solution (Protest) will address and tackle structural, political, economic or social injustice through the lens of diversity, including race, age, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, religion, national origin, disability status, political affiliation, veteran status and/or socio-economic background,”
This is your tax money at work. You pay for your children to go to school, the school also receives Federal money, and they spend their time educating your children to hate you and what you stand for and actually paying them to protest your beliefs!
According to the Daily Caller:
“The Student Social Justice Fund came out of expressed interest and intrigue into social justice issues in the local community and in the campus community by our students,” said Corey Boone, who facilitates the Social Justice Fund and serves as assistant director at VCU’s Office of Events and Special Programs, to VCU News. “We’re hoping that the students really get a chance to see the power that they have to be able to affect change, work on how to find innovative solutions to problems and go through the discovery and experience of implementing those solutions.”
