Horrible details emerged Wednesday in the account of Georgia teen Cassie Bjorge and boyfriend Johnny Rider, each accused of murdering the girl’s grandparents and attempting to kill other family members.
The 17 year-old Bjorge confessed that she and Rider, 19, killed Wendy and Randall Bjorge by beating the couple with a hammer, a tire iron and a baseball bat.
Then the cut the elderly couple’s throats with butcher knives, according to a police detective who testified in court.
In a sick twist, Bjorge and Rider stayed in the house for days after the killings, smoking pot and partying with company as the bodies decomposed in an upstairs bedroom.
The pair used caulk to seal interior doors in order to prevent the smell of rotting flesh from escaping the bedroom.
They also attacked other family members and made plans to murder Bjorge’s mother, Amanda Sterling, before being captured by Georgia police.
