The special election in Georgia is coming down to the wire, with Democrat Jon Ossoff having grabbed a couple of early leads in front of Republican Karen Handel.
But with several Republican-leaning counties just getting the votes counted, the gloomy atmosphere and desperate spin of the mainstream media bodes extremely well for Karen Handel’s chances.
On MSNBC, Rachel Maddow is talking about how the race is closer than it usually would be between a GOP and Democrat candidate in Georgia.
Meanwhile on CNN, a panel of Clintonian Democrats appear to already have one foot off the boat.
Kirsten Powers: “People are unhappy with Donald Trump…even if she (Handel) pulls it out, the Republican Party should be stepping back (from their agenda).”
Ossoff’s campaign has spent tens of millions of dollars, and might still lose this crucial race to the GOP.
