Germany has been a country that let in nearly a million migrants from the Muslim world.
Democrats and the Left have pointed to them as a “compassionate” and “progressive” country that America should follow. According to them, open-borders and “open minds” are they way to go.
But this mindset hasn’t turned out too great for Germany.
There have been multiple terror attacks in Germany and across Europe that were carried out by these migrants who the left wants us to invite in with open arms. If you suggest that there are some migrants who could pose a serious threat to our way of life, you are branded a racist and a bigot.
This is far from the truth. Putting immigration restrictions on those who want to do us harm protects all Americans. Everyone has been targets of radical Islamists.
Germany is slowly understanding this, but it may be too late.
Germany made mistakes with an open-door policy that saw more than a million migrants enter Germany over the past two years, Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble acknowledged on Sunday, but he said Berlin was trying to learn from those missteps.
Germany and many other “open” European countries have been over-run by primarily Muslim migrants from Syria and other war-torn Middle Eastern countries.
Among these migrants are those who don’t share Western values of respect and decency. They don’t respect women or children and believe that they can come into other countries and impose their backwards and Medieval ways.
This is what President Trump’s temporary executive order is supposed to prevent. Getting people to come into the country who love America and want to contribute positively. Not people who want to impose Sharia and terrorize us.
Europe is starting to see the consequences of their actions. The elitest open-door politicians are getting challenged and replaced by those who want strict immigration controls put in place. Many will find themselves out of power because of a failure to listen to and protect, their citizens. Donald Trump saw this, which is why he took the actions he did.
