Late on Tuesday night at 10:50 pm, there was yet another attempted intrusion at the White House Gates. Luckily, this time, the security system has not failed and the suspect never made it all the way across the wall, although it was not exactly the Secret Service that apprehended him. This bumbling intruder, luckily for everyone, got caught in the wall, getting entangled in the pointed spikes installed at the top of the fence last year as an added security feature.
This incident is in addition to two others that occurred in the past 2 weeks, one of which a man successfully jumped the fence on March 10th and another where a driver drove up the gate claiming he has a bomb.
From Young Conservatives:
Another man tried to charge the White House Tuesday night, but this time he was caught, and not just by the Secret Service. TMZ has learned at 10:50 PM, a man tried jumping the fence on 15th Street, but, according to the Secret Service, he was “entangled in security features affixed to the top of the fence.” The security elements on the top of the fence, i.e. the pointed spikes, that were added last year appear to have caught him, literally.
