The FBI was seen searching a remote location in South Carolina on Friday, in association with the disappearance a teenage girl who investigators believe was abducted, raped and killed nearly eight years ago, per a Fox News report.
A jailhouse “snitch” told the FBI that in 2009 the body of 17-year-old Brittannee Drexel (in photo) was fed to alligators after she was shot and killed while heroically trying to escape from a “stash house” where she was being held being held against her will by captors who raped her.
The search was taking place near a dirt road off Highway 521. A TV crew was told to leave because the spot was private property.
Before becoming the victim of a paranoid, drug-fueled gang, Drexel was seen leaving a motel in Myrtle Beach after traveling south from New York.
