A family in Tennessee is now suing their son’s school, after the female janitor reportedly dragged the 16-year-old boy into a closet and forced him to have sex with her.
Jessica Galyon, 29, is now being sued along with the school, and contracting company that hired her. The lawsuit alleges that the school was negligent in allowing the attack to happen. The attack scarred the boy, who ended up having to drop out of school.
Gaylon had been sending the boy text messages and Facebook messages in an attempt to get him in bed. She even offered him a hotel room, which he refused before. “This was the first ever sexual encounter of any kind that (the boy) had ever had in his life,” the lawsuit says.
To make matters worse, school mates and even teachers teased the boy about his relationship with the teacher, that he didn’t ask for.
The Daily Mail has more:
The suit alleges that the school and company were ‘negligent’ in allowing the attack to happen.
The boy dropped out of school as a result of the attack, the suit alleges.
According to court papers, Galyon aggressively courted the boy after meeting him in August, asking for his number and to ‘friend’ him on Facebook.
She began sending him ‘flirtatious and sexual messages’ even after the boy told her to stop, the suit claims.
She allegedly invited him to a hotel room, but he refused.
The suit alleges that when the boy confronted Galyon, she took him into a room and raped him during school hours.
‘This was the first ever sexual encounter of any kind that (the boy) had ever had in his life,’ the lawsuit says.
The boy’s classmates and teachers learned of the harassment and teased him by calling Galyon his ‘girlfriend,’ the suit claims.
A month after the alleged rape, a faculty member alerted a supervisor, court papers say. Galyon was arrested on on charges of sexual battery by an authority figure, aggravated statutory rape and statutory rape by an authority figure.
