Reports from the Colombia Police Department in South Carolina show that multiple injuries were inflicted at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Colombia, South Carolina earlier today. Deputy Police Chief Melron Kelly said earlier this morning that they cannot tell if there’s initial intent by the elderly man who was apparently behind the wheel. Local officials are working to gather additional information and will update the public as soon as they know more.
8 people were taken to hospital with a variety of injuries, thankfully none of them were life-threatening. The area was cordoned off while the investigation was underway.
Hopefully this was a simple case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time rather than foul play or terrorism. All initial reports point to that, however, the public are still waiting for an official update.
