Officials from Trump’s White House administration gathered at Capitol Hill on Thursday to let the Democrats know who’s really in charge. The team set down President Trump’s ultimatum to either sign the ACA or he walks away.
The administration are still saying the bill will likely pass, but if it doesn’t, then Donald Trump is preparing to get on with things.
As reported in the Daily Caller:
Trump is taking a gamble as leadership still lacks the votes to get the bill through the lower chamber, with both members of the House Freedom Caucus and the moderate Tuesday group coming out against the measure.
Counselor to the president Kellyanne Conway, Chief Strategist Steve Bannon, Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney attended the GOP conference meeting, and relayed the message, specifically that President Donald Trump is done with negotiations.
“Let’s vote,” Bannon told reporters as he left the meeting.
For years now, Law makers have been trying to either replace or repeal this broken Obamacare structure and now have an opportunity to do just that, it seems that partisanship is the main thing standing in the way.
