The shooting directed towards a group of Republican Congressmen playing baseball shows how dangerous the hateful rhetoric of the left has become.
Democrats have so polarized America that the door is open for deranged people like James Hodgkinson to become violent.
The election of 2016 should be over. Donald Trump won, and Hillary Clinton lost, and the country needs to move on. Instead, the Democrats are fixated on the past and are determined to keep the country in a constant state of upheaval.
According to Investor’s Business Daily, Hodgkinson was a 66-year-old supporter of Bernie Sanders who could not let the election go. He posted angry tweets about President Trump, and it hardly seems like an accident that he chose President Trump’s birthday for his attack.
This is how Trump Derangement Syndrome looks. But, sadly, such talk is not at all unusual on the left. It’s what happens when a political movement eschews honest debate and instead begins violently fantasizing in public about the demise of its opposition in the starkest, most eliminationist terms possible. And begins talking openly of “resistance” and of impeachment from the very day he enters office.

In recent weeks, we saw a Trump lookalike get assassinated in a play being staged in Central Park; Kathy Griffin’s sickening photo of her holding the decapitated head of the President in her hand, and the continuing mindless and often violent left protests across the country.
