Thousands of minks have died in Minnesota on a farm, thanks to idiotic animal rights activists, who broke in and freed the farm’s domesticated population. The libtard activists set loose about 38,000 minks worth an estimated $750,000, according to The Star Tribune.
Now, over 1,000 mink have died.
The disgusting act took place in Lang Farms near Eden Valley early Monday morning.
The Daily Mail reports:
Executive director of the fur-raising industry association Fur Commission USA, Michael Whelan, told The Tribune that farmed raised minks are too domesticated to survive in the wild.
Whelan said the minks ‘are not equipped to live outside the farm environment, where they are fed, watered and cared for daily.’
‘Anyone who thinks they are helping animals by doing this are severely misinformed, Whelan added.
No one has yet taken responsibility for the break-in, according to local authorities.
Police are asking that anyone with information on who was part of the group that did it, to come forward.
Whelan’s legal team is offering a monetary reward for anyone with information leading to the capture of these criminals.
If caught, they will be subject to a year in prison.
