North Korean Vice Foreign Minister Han Song-Ryol, possessing as much sanity as hair on top of his head, threatened America and Japan with weekly missile launches and the use of nuclear weapons in an interview with Al Jazeera reported on by Real Clear Politics.
“If we notice any sign of assault on our sovereignty, we will launch merciless military strikes against the U.S. aggressors wherever they exist. From remote U.S. lands to the military bases in the Korean Peninsula,” Song-Ryol said through a translator.
The minister then brought up the subject of DPRK’s nuclear arsenal, which he said “is not an illusion” and that the country is prepared to use the terrifying weapons. Song-Ryol also mentioned attacking “Japan” though it is unclear whether he meant only the American forces there.
North Korea’s missile tests are also widely viewed as a warning to China.
