North Korea’s crazy and unpredictable leader, Kim Jong Un sounds like he’s preparing for war.
Jong warned the U.S. that North Korea is “ready to react to any mode of war desired by the US” and the renegade country threatens to hold another nuclear weapons test at a time of its choosing.
While much of the world is tempted to laugh at the audacity of North Korea threatening the United States, it is no joking matter, and the Trump administration is taking the possibility of the unpredictable Kim pushing things too far quite seriously.
North Korea is in the midst of large-scale military drills which were characterized by the North Korea state media in this manner:
There is no limit to the strike power of the People’s Army armed with our style of cutting-edge military equipment including various precision and miniaturized nuclear weapons and submarine-launched ballistic missiles.
Meanwhile, the U.S. is moving military assets into the area and is rushing to complete deployment of the Terminal High-Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) missile defense system in South Korea, according to a report in The Daily Express.
