Hollywood awards shows have become an endless parade, it seems, of pampered liberal stars taking the microphone to attack President Trump and bemoan Hillary’s terrible fate of not getting to become President and invade more countries.
But not House of Cards star Kevin Spacey, who went against the grain with a devastating satire of the Clintons at the Tony Awards.
At the televised event, Spacey put on a white wig and impersonated former president Bill Clinton while taking shots at Hillary for her 2016 election flop.
“I love me some good political theater. We’ve had some surprising winners, haven’t we? I’m not even talking about the Tony Awards,” he joked while in-character.
Addressing actor Ben Platt whose TV character fabricated cyber-intelligence, Spacey-as-Bill-Clinton said, “after seeing your show, there’s no doubt Hillary is much better at creating fake email accounts than you!”
Spacey shrugged off any backlash in advance, saying (as himself), “I wanted to do a joke nobody else would.”
