Michael A. Jones, 44, and 29-year-old Heather Jones were accused of killing their 7-year-old son last year and feeding him to pigs. They are now in jail – but all this time later, the homeowner is still dealing with the damage this grotesque couple left behind.
The Jones’ lived in the home with the son and 6 daughters, all of whom were taken. They got caught when the husband fired a shot at the wife and police were called in. Cops were shocked to find human remains on the property, which have yet to be identified.
What they found in the house was absolutely horrifying. They discovered dead mice, cages of rats, rat poison, syringes and pornographic videos inside, according to the NY Daily News.
Now, the woman who owns the home has started a GoFundMe to help to take care of all the damage. Her husband remains deployed, and they sunk their life savings into buying the house for themselves. Now, it’s a nightmare.
Property owner Jennifer Hoevers said, “It took my breath away. Fast food wrappers everywhere. There’s milk, rotting food everywhere.”

Hoevers noted that there was black mold growing throughout the house and bullet holes in the wall. An entire bathroom had been torn apart and the swimming pool had been ruined. Recently, she started a GoFundMe page to fix the rental.
Hoevers initially rented the home to the Jones’ because they appeared to be polite and needed a home for their kids. The couple had even shown interest in buying the property one day.
Now, the $500,000 house Hoevers and her deployed husband put their life savings into has been destroyed.
Michael is currently being held on $10 million bond. Heather is being held on $5 million bond. Both have been charged with child abuse and first-degree murder, among other charges.
