The once great Oxford University has finally fallen foul of liberal diversity initiatives and decided to denounce students for thought crime. Now a student may be considered racist if they do not make eye-contact with another person.
This and other new guidelines were released under the university’s Equality and Diversity Unit newsletter which highlighted actions that may be considered “everyday racism”.
Make no mistake, this is an industry that is being catered for. It is designed to keep people scared and compliant to ensure they will forevermore follow orders from the State. The fact that this agenda is being pushed by one of the world’s most prestigious colleges is even worse.
As reported in the Daily Caller:
The university defended the newsletter as a way to “advise and support staff” in creating a discrimination-free campus in a statement to The Telegraph.
One professor criticized the newsletter, saying it could make students “hypersensitive.”
“Essentially people are being accused of a thought crime. They are being accused of thinking incorrect thoughts based on an assumption of where they may or may not be looking,” Dr. Joanna Williams, a lecturer, told The Telegraph.
To make people feel guilty for an almost involuntary action is ridiculous, attempting to control how another person thinks and perceives the world is borderline evil.
