On Sunday’s ‘State of the Union’, CNN’s Jake Tapper insisted, “Russia hacked the election.” Although there’s no evidence to prove it, the Russian hacking narrative has generally been accepted by liberals across the country.
How else could they explain Hillary’s loss to a political outsider?
If, in fact, the election was hacked by Russians, or Martians, or anybody else for that matter, it happened on Barack Obama’s watch.
If Obama knew about Russian hacking, why didn’t he take preventative measures to counter it?
Obama expelled some Russian diplomats and placed a couple more sanctions on the Ruskies to punish them for Democratic National Committee (DNC) email leaks, but did nothing more.
“It’s the consensus of the intelligence community [that] Russia hacked the election, they tried to interfere in the election. … Every intelligence expert [asserts] Russia interfered in the U.S. election,” said Tapper.
We all know that not ‘every intelligence expert’ claimed that Russia interfered with the election. In fact, no one has explained how they interfered with the election.
In fact, claims by the DNC that their servers were hacked by Russians have never been properly verified by anyone in the intelligence community. The DNC hired Crowdstrike, a private cyber security company, to find evidence of Russian hacking, so they did.
Then, the DNC refused to let the NSA, FBI, CIA, or anyone else for that matter, examine the servers.
So, the only ‘proof’ that the election was hacked comes from the DNC saying so.
The Daily Wire reports:
“Russia hacked the election,” asserted CNN’s Jake Tapper on Sunday’s State of the Union, framing the “election hacking” narrative as axiomatic.
Tapper framed 2016’s presidential election as having been meaningfully compromised by Russian state “interference” during an interview with newly-minted White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci.
