The Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) was started by former President Bill Clinton back in 2005. The CGI claimed to improve global health, increase opportunity for girls and women, reduce childhood obesity and preventable diseases, create economic opportunity and growth, and help communities address the effects of climate change.
The Clinton Global Initiative was actually a part of the broader Clinton Foundation. It served the purpose of establishing networks between the Clintons and wealthy foreign donors who had interests in Washington.
But really, it was just a part of the Clinton pay-to-play money making machine designed to pad the pockets of the Clinton family.
The Clintons sold political influence and favors in exchange for donations to the CGI. Now, without a Clinton in a political position, funds are drying up at the Initiative.
In fact, it’s gotten so bad that the last 22 employees have been laid off.
It looks like the Clinton Global Initiative will no longer be a going-concern, unless Chelsea gets elected to some political office!
Without any power to pedal, the Clinton Foundation will likely follow the CGI and close its doors too.
Angry Patriot reports:
The Clintons have officially ran out of influence to peddle, causing the Clinton Foundation to erupt in turmoil.
Months after her historic election loss to now-President Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton has announced the end of the Clinton Global Initiative — the primary organization of the Clinton Foundation.
