A White House petition (at whitehouse.gov) is urging Congress to appoint a special prosecutor for an investigation into the murder of Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich.
As of today, the petition is about halfway to its goal before a June 18th deadline.
“The (media) is not covering this murder, instead pushing it to the side, so it is now up to us,” the document reads.
“The facts do not add up, law enforcement stopped (investigating) the crime, and now it is time for us to fight for justice.”
In modern tradition, the White House responds to any “We the People” petition that receives over 100,000 signatures within 30 days. As of Tuesday, the petition for a special prosecutor needed 49,745 signatures to tally 100,000.
Rich has been suspected of leaking the Democratic National Committee’s pro-Hillary, anti-Bernie and “taco bowl” racism emails to Wikileaks, which would destroy the liberal narrative of Russia having hacked the Democrats.
