Following reports on friday, five middle school age children are being charged after throwing bricks at the presidential motorcade as it rolled by them.
According to Breitbart, “In a tweet, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office confirmed that they had ‘ID’d Juveniles who threw a 2 x 4 at Presidential Motorcade.’”
The PBC tweeted then, “A juvenile from a local middle school confessed to throwing the 2 x 4.”
According to reports, the incident was called in on Friday when President Trump was on his was to his Mar-a-Lago resort where he spent the weekend.
Due to the young age of the children, they can not be identified but will be charged. Details are still emerging from the case.
President Trump’s visits to Palm Beach are nothing short of drama, but on Friday, tension was heightened when the President’s motorcade was struck by a small hard object.
PBSO has identified the object as a 2 x 4 piece of wood, and has found the culprit behind the act – a group of local teenagers.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office was assisting the United States Secret Service Friday morning for the motorcade movement of President Donald Trump from PBIA airport along Southern Blvd. to his destination at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach.
While driving along Southern Boulevard, PBSO says a group of five teenagers threw the wood object at the President’s motorcade between Parker Avenue and Lake Avenue.
The teens, who are not being identified because they are minors, all attend local middle schools and one confessed to the incident.
Charges will be filed with the PBC States Attorney’s Office.
