Chadwick Moore, a contributor for LGBT magazine OUT, recently came out as conservative in an article for the New York Post. After the article was published, long time friends, mentors, and fellow liberals turned on Moore, targeting him with acrimonious attacks.
Breitbart News reports:
“After the story posted online in the early hours of October 21, I woke up to more than 100 Twitter notifications on my iPhone,” stated Moore. “Trolls were calling me a Nazi, death threats rolled in and a joke photo that I posed for in a burka served as ‘proof’ that I am an Islamophobe. I’m not. Personal friends of mine — men in their 60s who had been my longtime mentors — were coming at me. They wrote on Facebook that the story was ‘irresponsible’ and ‘dangerous.’ A dozen or so people unfriended me.”
Moore’s woes did not end here; they worsened. He accounted the feeling of being outside of the liberal bubble for the first time and detailed his findings. “What I saw was ugly, lock step, incurious and mean-spirited,” he described.
Liberals utterly lack the capacity to even hear any train of thought that contrasts with their propagandist, dogmatic notions. Their proclaimed support of LGBT Americans is nullified once those people identify as conservative. Leftists viciously condemn any individual who dares to arrive at views that are in opposition with progressivism. Moore was subjected to this mistreatment, being falsely branded as a “Nazi” because he agreed with the President’s policy to secure American borders. As long as Democrats bully, ostracize, and name call those who disagree with them, they will continue to lose elections and supporters. Americans are waking up. Conservatives are not the “intolerant, bigoted fascists.” Democrats are.
