It has been over 6 years since Casey Antony was acquitted of killing her two-year-old daughter. It was a verdict that rocked the nation, with many who still feel she should be behind bars. Even her parents came out in an interview and agreed. Now, Anthony is spotted out and about, coddling a friend’s child in a restaurant.
Meanwhile, Anthony herself has appeared in an interview, saying that she was open to having children again. Her friends say that Anthony is “bored out of her mind” most days.
“She doesn’t have a huge circle of friends, and the friends she has are all employed elsewhere, so she doesn’t see them 24/7,” says a source that knows Anthony well. “She binge-watches TV, plays around on the internet, and doesn’t do much more than that. Frankly, it’s all pointless and aimless.”
The Daily Mail reports:
According to the publication, Anthony lives off money from posed photographs she sells to tabloids every few months. Her Associated Press interview was free.
Until then, she had been living as a recluse in Florida, moving between safe houses until she was found.
The interview in March brought an end to her under-the-radar lifestyle.
Unrepentant as she spoke for the first time since she was cleared of Caylee’s death, Anthony told how she sleeps ‘pretty good’ at night and doesn’t give a ‘s***’ what others think of her.
Though she has always denied killing the toddler, she admits lying to police during the course of their investigations.
Caylee had not been by her mother for a month when she was eventually reported missing by her grandmother, Cindy, in July 2008.
Her remains were found on the family’s property in December that year.
Casey changed her story several times before her sensational 2011 trial, suggesting at times that Caylee drowned in the family’s pool and appearing to implicate her own father who she claimed molested her as a child.
George Anthony vehemently denies having any involvement in his granddaughter’s death and ferociously disputes Casey’s sexual assault allegations.
He believes she killed Caylee accidentally with chloroform, traces of which were found in Casey’s abandoned car during police investigations.
