Twitter star and conservative journalist Mike Cernovich had seen enough.
Trump administration press secretary Sean Spicer has been made to endure what he calls a “stump him!” game from the hostile media whenever taking the podium to discuss the President’s daily affairs. So-called “journalists” compete with one another to score liberal “points” for making the speaker stutter or refuse to answer a question.
But today, Cernovich, an independent film-maker, stepped into the White House briefing room and began asking questions of his own – directed not at Spicer, but at the media.
“Why won’t you demand that leaders of the Democrats disavow the violence by Antifa the way you demanded Trump disavow violence from his supporters?” he barked at a stunned Beltway press corps.
“Are you a journalist?” snooted April Ryan, a White House correspondent and Washington bureau chief.
Cernovich demonstrated that he was, then continued assailing the seated minions. “You have no answer,” he pointed out.
