In an interview earlier today, Bill Kristol told Newsmax TV’s Steve Malzberg that the Flynn-Obama connection is childish and an example of liberals living in a bubble.
The story that Obama “warned” President Trump about Michael Flynn has made major splashes today in the Associated Press and other mainstream sources.
But Kristol, not a devout Trump supporter by any stretch, threw cold water on the story and implied that nobody cares outside of a few bitter Democrats in Washington.
“They are so much in their own bubble,” Kristol lamented about the Dems.
“They think that the fact President Obama might have said something to President Trump 2 days after the election about a man (Flynn) who had been so critical about President Obama, that Trump should have taken that advice is just childish.”
“There is no evidence…that President Obama warned [President-elect Trump] that Flynn had illegitimate contact.”
