Bill Cosby’s daughter insists that her father “loves and respects women,” according to an article she penned.
Evin Cosby blamed her father’s troubles on the “public persecution” of her father and the media’s “cruelty” in reporting the sexual assault stories regarding her father.
This news comes as Bill Cosby says that he is now completely blind.
People magazine outlined Cosby’s legal struggles in a recent article.
Cosby, 79, is charged with three counts of aggravated indecent assault for allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting former Temple employee Andrea Constand, now 44, at his Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, mansion in January 2004. Cosby has pleaded not guilty and denies similar claims from more than 50 other women. He is scheduled to go to trial on the charges on June 5. Jury selection begins in Pittsburgh on May 22.
Cosby stopped performing his stand-up comedy act in 2015 after he was charged with assaulting Ms. Constand.
