Black Lives Matter Philadelphia has banned Caucasians and other non-block people people from an upcoming event, claiming it is a “black only space,” according to a report in The Daily Caller.
The April 15 meeting will focus on initiatives for the upcoming year and developing a space for people to “meet, strategize and organize.” White people are explicitly banned from the meeting.
When a distraught Twitter activist pointed out that Civil Rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr. worked hand in hand with whites to accomplish his goals, Black Lives Matter responded with the following tweet:
Anyone who identifies as “African disapora” is allowed to attend the meeting. The term refers to African slaves who were brought to America. (No word on whether the average age of attendees is expected to be 200 or 300.)
