Failed 2016 Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders of Vermont is happy the American Health Care Act (AHCA) failed to pass through Congress, but is now describing Obamacare as a rising-cost, flawed system that has “serious problems.”
Sanders appeared on CNN Sunday to discuss what comes next for health care reform.
While the confirmed Socialist believes the ACHA’s failure is a blessing for consumers, he added that “Of course Obamacare has serious problems. Deductibles are too high. Premiums are too high. The cost of health care is going up at a much faster rate than it should.”
But in case you are inclined to agree with the senator with a simple “duh,” Sanders went on to suggest several European solutions to health care as role models for a government-controlled system in the United States.
