Guests and tourists were fleeing the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada after a robber wearing a pig mask opened fire. Some witnesses claim that they even saw some of the masked robbers carrying sledgehammers to use to smash into the store. At least three people were involved in the robbing of a high end Rolex store. The Metropolitan Police Department currently have one suspect in custody.
Thankfully, no one was injured, but a lot of people were scared by the incident. One woman tweeted her shock, saying that there was mass panic and that she had to hide under a table. Parts of the casino are now closed, pending an investigation. The Rolex store was closed when the robbery took place and all the shots that went off occurred inside the store.

Officers received a call about the incident at the Bellagio at 12:50 am, and has apprehended one suspect by 2:15 am, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported. One woman who was at the hotel when the robbery unfolded described the atmosphere as one of ‘mass panic’. ‘Everyone running. I’m currently ducked on the floor under a table,’ she wrote. The store was closed when the armed robbers got in and all shots were fired inside, police said.
Some witnesses said the burglars used sledgehammers to break into the store, although police have not confirmed it so far. Las Vegas – where anything is possible! Why would this person choose a pig mask to conceal his face? Not exactly stealth…
