Singer Ariana Grande has become the center of a tragic terrorist attack, when a Libyan-British terrorist set off bombs after her show, killing 22 and injuring over 100 others. Grande jetted home immediately to recover from the shock, promising to pay funeral costs for fans lost at the concert. Today, she had another major announcement.
Grande said she will be back to Manchester to have a benefit concert to help support the victims of this terrible atrocity. She posted on her Twitter page, “We won’t let hate win.”
She added: “I have been thinking of my fans, and of you all, non stop over the past week. The compassion, kindness, love, strength and oneness that you’ve shown one another this past week is the exact opposite of the heinous intentions it must take to pull off something as evil as what happened Monday.”
Grande also encouraged others to donate whatever they can to help the victims affected by the terrorist attack: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/westandtogethermanchester.
