A college in Minnesota was shut down by protests earlier this month due to a racist note found on a student’s car.
But authorities at St. Olaf College announced on Wednesday that the note was a hoax perpetrated by the same student, seeking to draw attention.
The incident is the 2nd high-profile “hate crime” this month that has been found by police to be a false flag. Last week, a musician in Indiana was arrested for painting his own church with Nazi graffiti.
The hoax at St. Olaf College caused classes to be cancelled on May 1. 2 days prior, the student told security officials that she found a threatening note on her car that used the N-word.
That led to days of demonstrations, with students chanting: “This ends now.”
Local police investigated and found that the student, Samantha Wells, had written it herself.
