Another weekend and another multiple homicides in Chicago was how Mother’s Day was celebrated in the windy city.
Worried family members gather outside the scene of a shooting early in the morning of Mother’s Day.
Two men, ages 24 and 25, were shot at point-blank range while they were stopped at a stoplight. Apparently for no other reason than they happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
The Chicago Tribune reported that people in the neighborhood were horrified at what happened.
There’s no peace on this corner for long. And on this of all days — Mother’s Day. That’s two mothers who are going to be grieving.
This occurred on a weekend where more than 17 other people were shot.
